Puncture proof tyres are the best tyre option for plant and machines working in harsh environments such as industrial yards, mines and job sites. There is nothing on these rough terrains and surfaces that can stop a puncture proof tyre.
Puncture proof tyres are made by injecting a polyurethane liquid into the tyre through its valve system. The result is, in 24 hours you have you have a synthetic rubber core tyre that is unable to lose inflation or burst even in the most demanding conditions.
A tyre that won’t burst, puncture or deflate will completely eliminate downtime due to tyre maintenance and repair for this machine. In rugged industrial environments punctures on frequently used machines happen two to three times a week. Over the lifetime of a tyre this equals a great deal of downtime and cost for you and your business.
If however, you were using a standard pneumatic tyre, a slash, puncture or blowout would ooze dollar signs and need immediate repair or replacement.
But what about the cost…
Yes puncture proof tyres will cost a bit more up front than it’s pneumatic rival, but the elimination of repairs and maintenance by using a puncture proof tyre will help the tyre pay for itself.
