Nitrogen Tyres

Using a mixture of Nitrogen and Oxygen when we fill your tyres will mean that the effects of the ‘slow deflation’ on your tyres, the general cause of having to top-up your tyres with air can be negated. Nitrogen is also a very stable substance to it won’t burn in a fire unlike oxygen.
Whilst it’s not yet standard industry practice for a relatively cheap $5 per passenger tyre you can insure against slow deflation which should improve tyre performance, fuel consumption and safety standards.
There is still some debate about the true benefits of nitrogen filling. At Darra we offer the service although we don’t openly promote it until more research comes to hand. Afterall the air we put into your tyres already has 79% Nitrogen (it’s in the atmosphere naturally.)
